Hosted by p_l_an_t at the V&A Boost Families Event

The hands-on workshop invited participants to reimagine food beyond the kitchen. Through the creation of one-page visual recipes, participants explored the stories and connections behind natural ingredients linked to what the earth provides.

Blending art, culture, and nature, the workshop encouraged reflection on: The origins and memories tied to ingredients and recipes, food as a medium for storytelling and creative expression through arts and crafts.

Participants crafted a unique recipe page using drawings, collages, and personal notes, contributing to a collective archive celebrating the relationship between food, culture, and design.

Part of the V&A Families Programme, this event fostered imaginative play and intergenerational creativity, inspiring participants to see food as both art and heritage.
