p_l_an_t by Rohit, is a material culinary lab and is proposed as an alternative to the standard formatting of a cookbook. Delving into the genre of Food / Cookery, p_l_an_t  proposes to dissect recipes into a singular page - aimed at educating readers into the simplicity of a plant-based diet. The recipe posters are clean in its aesthetic, designed instructionally like you would build a piece of furniture. The illustrations of each ingredient are drawn to scale, so the cook can place the produce directly onto the paper and begin to follow the steps.

Educating our communities on the planet and a plant-based diet as well as Inspiring the youth and getting them excited by cooking could play a significant role in shaping the future of the food systems. The one page recipes Is a part of a continuous series, adapting and reformatting seasonal and cultural recipes.
“The consequences of not cooking are far more serious now than they were even a generation ago. In our industrialised, urbanised society, cooking is the one chance most of us have of taking some control over what we eat, and all that means. Cooking is not just about what goes on in the kitchen; it is the pivotal point in the food chain: the one that, arguably, affects everything else in it” (Steel,C 2008,p.198).
